Sorry for not being able to update you live today - we had no mobile reception down on the beach. But you missed nothing, as the wind was light and the riders happy to have a rest day.

Probably we get some wind tomorrow, but it is not looking good for the final two days of the competition.

What an incredible day: 60 knots of wind, amazing speeds, upside-down timing caravan. We have rarely seen such a windy race day during competition - an experience that not many can share. Alexandre Caizergues and Charlotte Consorti, both from France, are still dominating the PKRA Speed:World:Cup in Port St. Louis.

Epic conditions today in Port St. Louis, with three legs held in 30-40 knots of wind the race committee tested all skills of the riders, technical as well as physical.

Alex Caizergues was the man of the day, with three bullets clearly in the lead now. In the womens fleet, Charlotte Consorti has also a perfect score with 4 out of 5 victories.

The kick off event for the 2008 Kitespeed season couln'd have been better. Two races were held today in good speedsailing conditions, and a lot more is to come during the week.

The best start into the new season had Rolf van der Vlugt (NED) with a first and a second place, and Charlotte Consorti (FRA) with two bullets.
