French Cup: Day 3 PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 24 March 2008

Another windy day in Port St. Louis ! Only one leg was completed, as the weather conditions were to cold - in the morning we had snow fall here on the beach ! Cedric Bordes won the heat ahead of Cyril Moussilmani (Fanatic, North) and David Garrel (F2, North).

The womans fleet was once more dominated by Valerie Ghibaudo (Loft Sails), who won the round ahead of Marion Raisi and Lise Vidal.

In the overall ranking, Cyril Moussilmani as now taken the lead from Fabien Pendle, who had a bad crash and destroyed a lot of equipment today. David Garrel is third now, but Cedric Bordes in fourth needs only one discard to take the lead with two bullets so far.

Valerie Ghibaudo seems unbeatable at the moment, places 2, 3 and four are only separated by one point, so this will be thrilling until the end.

The forecast for tomorrow looks promising again, stay tuned with us at www.windsurfjournal.com !
