ISWC World Championships scheduled for November PDF Print E-mail

Good news for all the speed windsurfers out there. The 2010 Speed Windsurfing World Championship will be held November 15-21 in Port St. Louis, France.

A minimum of 10000 Euros in pricemoney will be up for grabs, and all the best speeders from around expected to participate.

Stay tuned for the Notice of Race and opening of registration in the next days !

For the Kitespeeders we are still working on an event, fingers crossed on that end !

Good news for the Speed Windsurfing Community - a new date and venue will be released very soon, final negotiations are just underway.

For the Speed Kiters we are still working on a solution to hold a world championship event, but there is nothing that can be announced yet.

Due to economical reasaons the Speed Worlds for Windsurfers and Kiteboarders are cancelled.

New 2010 ISWC World Rankings published PDF Print E-mail

The 2010 ISWC Championship Rulebook brought some significant changes for the updated speed windsurfing world rankings.

As there are only each individual riders three best results counting for the world cup ranking now, Bjorn Dunkerbeck (SUI) and Zara Davis (GBR) have taken over the lead now.

The updated rankings are also the base for the seeding for the upcoming 2010 ISWC world championships in Sotavento, Fuerteventura.
