 The 5th March obviously made one man (Antoine Albeau) very, very happy, but left another less than gruntled, one Finian Maynard, who lost his title as fastest sail powered man on water. Here’s BVI-11’s version of the day, and he clearly hasn’t spoken his last words on the subject !

 Subject to ratification, Dirk Doppenberg set a new Dutch record at 44.57 knots during yesterdays session. There is another chance to run on Wednesday. Keep fingers crossed and stay tuned with us !

Far from perfect conditions today, the wind came very early and not from the right direction. We are waiting for the official results, the best one seemed to be Dirk Doppenberg with probably a new dutch record. Stay tuned for updates.

 The 500m All Time Ranking lists have been updated, reflecting the latest results from Saintes Maries. To enter the Top 10, a speed of more than 45 knots is neccessary, and a speed of more than 44 knots for the Top 20. The bar is set a little bit higher again !
