The wind seems to be superstrong, but very gusty, and its freezing cold. Good luck to all the riders down there, go for it !

mos.jpg The Canal has laid dormant for eight weeks since the last session whilst the MoS organizers still searched for the big day to try and break the official WSSRC 50-knot barrier.
However, it looks very positive that the wind gods might help their cause as a strong Mistral wind is forecasted for the middle of the week.

This challenge takes us back in time, reminding us of the beginnings of aviation, where many inventors and “Gyro Gearlooses” competed with each other in furthering the progress of trying to make their wooden and canvas birds fly.
The setbacks were many and often severe, but these early trials have led to the A380 and the Ariane 5 of today.
