Biography
Speedsailing is the reason I got into windsurfing and has always been my passion.  Left Australia to live and train in Weymouth at the height of speedsailing in the mid 1980's. Moved to the California and worked with the Gaastra ADTR project developing sails for Pascal Maka's record breaking runs . Sailed and raced at all the best speed locations in the world. Developed testing programs as equipment editor for Windsurf Magazine USA and tested with Surf Germany and Planche Mag France. Worked with Curtis Hesselgrave developing Curtis fins and introduced them to the World Cup in the late 80's.  Developed hollow carbon honeycombe boards with Peter Thommen in 1989. Created Windco and consulted with most major windsurfing companies testing boards and developing marketing programs. Retired from racing and sport in early 1990's to work in the real world.  Returned to speedsailing in 2005, top ranked GPS-SS sailor in the USA.
